For over 35 years the Detroit Area Steelheaders, Inc  has contributed to numerous worthwhile causes which we believe serve our stated organizational goal of promoting and protecting Great Lakes sportfishing.  Thanks to our members and contributors who have helped us raise funds to make these donations.

The following list of donations made in recent years may overlook some, but the overall impact is that the Detroit Area Steelheaders give!

  • December, 2004 - $800 Grant.  To the Grand Rapids Steelheaders Foundation, Inc. for their Willow Tree Trout Farm community fishing project.
  • October, 2004 - $250 Grant.  To the Great Lakes Sport Fishing Council Carp Barrier fund for the Chicago River.
  • July, 2004 - $1,000 Grant.  To Project FISH for their teaching projects.
  • July, 2004 - $250 Grant.  To the Great Lakes Sport Fishing Council for their operations.
